我并没有命令人们去摧毁罗马帝国。我只是命令我的门徒悔改并遵循我的道路。最终，他们的圣洁竟打破了罗马帝国。所以，今天我也要告诉你：“悔改并跟从我——克里姆林宫自会崩溃。” ·十一月九日·受人之赐 接受人家的赠礼也要讲究风度。 人家把礼物送到你面前，应该注意三件事。
有礼物必须接受。
送礼物而遭到拒绝最容易伤送礼人的心。
出乎爱心、不带不浪动机的送礼，是一种友好的表示，对一些不轻易表露感情的人来说，把礼物送人更不容易。这一类的礼物都应该接受。
对人家赠礼必须心存感谢。
这是我们说谢谢人家的机会。有时机礼物送了出去，一句多谢的话也听不到，常常要经过一长段时间，才能知道他是不是已经收到那份礼物。
“谢谢你”三个字再容易说也没有了。这也是最容易叫人听了高兴的三个字。我们应该求主：“让我能感恩，让我记得告诉人我心里很感谢。”有时候连耶稣基督都得问：“洁净了的不是十个人吗？那九个在哪里呢？除了这外族人，再没有别人来归荣耀与主吗？”（路17：17-18）
收了礼物，必须用它。
送礼物的人有一半的快乐是看见对方在用他送的东西，这也是耶稣十分奇妙的地方。他把收到小得不能再小、几乎毫无价值可言的礼物，都会极高兴地加以使用。
耶稣最赞扬的一个人是把两个小钱放进圣殿银库的那个穷寡妇，主耶稣好像在说：天父会大大使用她所献上的。

I don't borrow from its sunshine For its skies may turn to grey. I don't worry o'er the future, For I know what Jesus said. And today I'll walk beside Him, For He knows what is ahead. Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand But I know who holds tomorrow And I know who holds my hand. Every step is getting brighter As the golden stairs I climb; Every burden's getting lighter, Every cloud is silver-lined. There the sun is always shining, There no tear will dim the eye; At the ending of the rainbow Where the mountains touch the sky. I don't know about tomorrow; It may bring me poverty.
